Policies
According to the 1974 Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), we must have signed permission to issue your private record. Therefore, we are unable to accept transcipt requests by telephone.
Requesting Transcripts
Current and former School of Medicine students must request transcripts online using Parchment, Washington University’s transcript vendor.
You may request your official transcript through our third-party vendor: Parchment.com
On the Parchment website, select Order & Status. In the Find an institution dialog box, type WashU Medicine.
There is no charge for obtaining WashU Medicine transcripts. However, there is a charge for expedited shipping via FedEx.
Paper transcripts will be delivered via the service selected in your request. Electronic delivery of official transcripts is also available (downloadable PDF). If electronic delivery is selected, both the requestor and recipient will receive emails from Parchment regarding transmission of the transcript. If you have forms or other documents that must be attached to your transcript, they may be uploaded to your online request.
Please verify that the recipient information provided is correct before finalizing the order. Once submitted, orders cannot be corrected or refunded; students must place new orders.
Unofficial transcripts can be downloaded from Workday.
Students who would like their degree and degree date to appear on their official transcript must select “Hold for Degree” when submitting a transcript request. Similarly, students who want their end-of-term grades included must select “Hold for Grades.” Transcript orders not placed with a hold option are processed immediately and will reflect the academic record at the time of fulfillment. Please note that transcript orders cannot be refunded once processed.
